Hello everyone, ^_^ I'm sure most all of you know me. If you don't the name is Ryan, and I enjoy reading playing guitar and debating with people. I just found out about the forums today, and I'm happy to join. (:

I read all sorts of books, I tend to stray away from romance books but other than that I read pretty much all kinds. My favorites are mystery and adventure but I also really like reading books on philosophy as I tend to enjoy taking in life from different perspectives.

Any particular titles (or authors) that you'd recommend?

Well I do like John Flanagan he writes a rather great series called The Rangers Apprentice and The Brotherband Series. I also like D.J. MacHale for his Pendragon Series, I also really like Christopher Paolini and I have a lot of other ones, but those are just some kind of big names that have books that should definitely be read.

Oooooh, yes, the Traveler's were quite interesting too read about. Which book was your favourite? Loved the Quillan Games, myself. It was a wonderful bit of dystopia, and still makes me give Walmart the stinkeye to this day.

I haven't yet read Inheritance, the the first three books of that series have been pretty good. It's one of those books on my to-read list.

Afraid I've only ever started the first Rangers Apprentice, and I never actually finished it. I may need to take another look at it.

In return, have you ever read any of Jim Butcher's works? His Codex Alera and Dresden Files are both worth a look into if you're ever in need of something to read.
